My name is Cesar Aleman and I am running for State Representative District 11. I am honored to be married to my beautiful wife Alejandra and father to my beautiful daughter Emily, 17 and my son Daniel, 6.
I have lived in South Phoenix/Laveen most of my life since we moved from El Paso Texas in 1992 at the age of 9 years old. I attended Laveen Elementary which is now Laveen Education Center and attended my senior year at Cesar Chavez High School where I was privileged to be part of the first class to graduate from Chavez. I have seen the wonderful side of District 11 and although it wasn’t perfect, it was our home and continues to be our home.
I worked for Boys & Girls Club of Metro Phoenix throughout the Valley since 2009 where I got the opportunity to work with youth, families, and community partners throughout Phoenix until May of 2020. I now work in the Laveen area serving our community and our church at Laveen Baptist Church where I am blessed to be part of.
My objective through this political opportunity is to serve our community. Our district area has grown and continues to grow. With that being said we need to make policy changes in our area that will actually improve our area. I am a candidate that believes the importance of family structure, life for all, and justice for all, and not the few. We need to remember that those held in political seats are there to serve our wonderful God-given nation and I want to be a representative that actually represents you and not political agendas. We can all come together, Republicans, Democrats, Independents, and any other political parties to better our communities because it is our communities that truly represent our nation.
I conclude with this statement given by our 16th U.S. President Abraham Lincoln in a time of a divided nation in turmoil.

My name is Joseph Dailey, and I am a proud resident of South Phoenix, where I have lived for over 20 years. As a father of three, I am deeply invested in the growth and development of our community, and I am committed to ensuring that our district receives the funding and resources it needs to thrive.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, which I earned Summa Cum Laude, as well as a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Arizona State University. I have also earned multiple business and product development certificates throughout my career. Currently, I serve as the Global Director for Functional Safety and Cybersecurity at one of the world’s largest engineering firms, where I have gained extensive experience in research, development, and program deployment to meet customer needs.
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with professionals in over 20 countries. This international experience has given me a unique perspective on the importance of well-managed legal immigration, which can promote economic growth, diverse skill sets, and cultural enrichment. However, I also recognize the potential economic burdens and security risks associated with illegal immigration, and I am committed to ensuring that our immigration system is fair, efficient, and respectful of our laws.
As a member of the Arizona House of Representatives, I will work tirelessly to enact laws that restore individual property rights for our citizens, oppose international rights over the State, and advocate for educational development in South Phoenix. I will leverage my engineering and business expertise to implement pragmatic, business-oriented solutions that will improve our educational system and prepare our children for a prosperous future. I will also ensure that tax dollars are used effectively and efficiently for the benefit of our district’s residents.
I believe that a well-managed community is the most elevating equity in life, and I am committed to making a positive impact in South Phoenix. I am ready to bring my extensive experience, practical solutions, and unwavering dedication to the Arizona House of Representatives, and I ask for your support in this mission. Together, we can empower our youth and enhance the quality of life in our communities.
I am Joseph Dailey, a father of three who has lived in South Phoenix for more than 20 years.
I understand the caliber of life and the opportunities in South Phoenix as I have watched it grow and change. I would like to see these opportunities continue to be cultivated. The successful education of our children needs to be a part of that continued growth. The children of the Roosevelt School District deserve education on par with Arizona’s best schools.
Why is he running? He does not have a degree in education. His response: “If having an education background to serve on the board was the answer, our schools would be among the best in the state. Instead, they are failing our children and the South Phoenix community. Independent evaluations of the Roosevelt Elementary District show that 87% of our neighborhood schools are below average, only 12% are moderate, and not one above average.
“Some families have the resources to send their children to charter or private schools, or to public schools in districts that get better results. Those with lower economic means are left to cope with deteriorating schools. The need for reform is evident. I am not here for any other reason than our children, and I mean to do what I can to give all of them an education equal to or better than the best schools in the State.”
Joe is a successful business and engineering manager, serving as a Global Engineering Director in one of the largest engineering firms in the world. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He earned his MBA degree from ASU, and he possesses numerous business and project development certificates and degrees, as well as patents awarded for products he has developed. Having grown up in a working-class family, he is proof that a good education can provide financial equity for anyone who is willing to work for it.
Joe is a leader who can make a difference, having shown his leadership capabilities for many years in business. He is proficient in developing and deploying programs that meet customers’ needs. He travels globally and works with people in more than 20 countries. These people are multidisciplinary, multicultural, sophisticated, and very demanding. Joe believes that his extensive experience enables him to bring to the Roosevelt School District sensible solutions with a business-oriented implementation. He wants classrooms to focus on the educational basics, and not on division or indoctrination. The District needs a School Board member who will be the parents’ advocate, one who will not forget or ignore the role of the parent.

I believe I understand what businesses want, and I know how to give your children what they need to succeed. For me, success is the most rewarding equity in life. JOSHUA AYALA
My name is Joshua Ayala. I was born in Phoenix, Arizona, and raised in Laveen, Arizona. I attended Roosevelt District School Southwest. I am married with two children and have owned a financial services company for ten years, having been in the financial services industry for twenty-one years.
I believe in God and am very passionate about our community. These are some of the many reasons why I am running for the State Senate. I have three primary focuses: unity, family, and safety for our area of Laveen, South Phoenix, and Guadalupe.
Unity is crucial because, growing up in these areas as a mixed-race individual, I faced many struggles, including segregation. To promote unity, I will support policies that encourage individual responsibility and community involvement, ensuring everyone has a voice in local decisions. By partnering with local businesses and organizations, we can strengthen our community bonds and create a more unified and prosperous future.
Family is the cornerstone of our community. As a fifth-generation Arizonan, I know that increasing programs and supporting policies promoting family values and natalism is vital to a healthy, growing community. We should make it easier for families to live – not harder.
Safety is essential for our area, especially as drug use and homelessness increase. I aim to work with city officials to enhance policing. I have experienced firsthand the delays in police response; when my home was broken into, it took over three hours for the police to arrive. In contrast, when I lived in Ahwatukee, my niece accidentally dialed the police, and they arrived in under five minutes. I will work diligently to ensure our community receives the same response time and treatment.
